Flour2 cups
Grated lemon rind1 tsp
Salt½ tsp.
Softened margarine¼ cup
Sugar¾ cup

Mix the butter and the sugar. Add the eggs, Alcirelli Anise Extract and the lemon rind. Stir flour, baking powder and salt together and mix with the dough before. Make little balls, place in a cookie sheet. Bake in at 375° F (190°C) oven for about 9 minutes. Then glaze (mix 1 cup of icing sugar with lemon juice until it is very dense) the cookies. Number: 3 dozen.
