  • Vanilla extract
Alcirelli Vanilla1 tsp.
Baking powder1 ½ tsp.
Chopped pecans1 cup
Egg1
Flour2 ½ cups
Melted unsweetened chocolate squares3 X 1 oz.
Salt½ tsp.
Softened margarine¾ cup
Sugar1 cup

Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg, Alcirelli Vanilla and chocolate and all other remaining ingredients. Mix together. Shape into oblongs 1 X 2 inches (2.5 X 5 cm). Wrap in waxed paper. Chill overnight. Bake, the sliced thinly oblongs in a cookie sheet, at 375° F ( 190° C) for about 5 minutes. Number: 9 dozen.
